Elephants Toenail
The "Elephants Toenail" has always been one of my favorite multi-bladed folder patterns.  This version is made as a three-bladed whittler.  The main blade is three and one-eighth inches long.  Each of the small blades is two inches long.  All blades are made from 1075 and 15N20 steels in a ladder pattern forged by maker.  The knife features stainless steel bolsters which are engraved and gold inlayed by Steve Dunn.  The mammoth ivory handle is secured by 18K gold pins and has one 18K gold escutcheon. Saddle Horn Trapper
The  W-West Texas Wind patterned Damascus blade on this slip-joint folder is forged from 1075 and 15N20.  The 416 stainless bolsters are engraved by the maker.  The handle features mammoth ivory scales and 416 stainless pins. Sharp by Coop Photo

Two-Bladed Saddle Horn Trapper

  California Jack
This slip-joint folder's two and three-quarter inch Damascus blade is forged from 1075 and 15N20 steels in a feathered pattern.   The 416 stainless bolsters are engraved by the maker.  The shield is 18K gold and the pins are 14K gold.  The handle features antique shell scales.  Johnny Stout Photo
